What Happened to
3CDO Milsim

3CDO Milsim began as a community built on openness, teamwork and enjoyable gameplay. For a long time, it offered a space where players could relax, collaborate and create memorable experiences together. Over time, however, the atmosphere changed. What was once a welcoming environment gradually shifted as internal toxicity began to overshadow the original purpose of the group.

Many believed the issues stemmed from the wider Arma Reforger community, but it became clear that the problems were developing inside 3CDO itself. The culture moved away from fun and creativity and instead became increasingly rigid and authoritarian. In some cases, members, including younger players, were spoken to or treated in ways that were inappropriate and discouraging. This behaviour stood in direct contrast to what a gaming community should represent.

The impact of this toxicity did not remain isolated. It spread into other branches of the organisation, including the modding studio. As a result, a decision was made to close the studio entirely in order to prevent further harm and to stop the negative culture from continuing to grow.

Gaming is meant to be a source of enjoyment, a way to unwind, and an opportunity to build something rewarding with others. When a group loses sight of that, it stops being a community and becomes something else entirely. The wider Arma Reforger milsim community deserved better than what 3CDO had become.

This statement serves as an acknowledgment of what went wrong and a reminder of what gaming communities should strive for.

Play for enjoyment, not for status.
